Red Fire Engine!!!

Last weekend of course we went into town and went to the days of '47 Rodeo. It was alright. No one could stay on or rope. So we had fun people watching and just being with family. The next day however was totally different and so exciting. We went to family party for my grandma where she got to talk about her heritage. That was fun but then we surprised the kids and went to the Fire Station.e to his station and see his truck and get pictures. How awesome! So we get there and he shows us around and shows us what different things do and where they sleep. Just really fun things. Then we walk through the door! (i don't think Nate stopped running) He was so excited and so was Payge. We all were. We got to play in the truck for a little while. Sit in all the different seats, open all the doors and see where all the hoses were. Then Daren looks at us and says "Alright are you ready for a ride?" I think I was the first one in the truck. He had Payge as the co-pilot and navigator. Then the five of us in the back and we went for the sweetest ride. People thought they were seeing things as a firetruck is driving through their street with people in it but they waved. We got to wear the head sets and talk to each other and be so super cool. Then we got back to the station and got to squirt the hoses. Alright seriously it was so cool. We were all little kids again. Dad and Terry win the prize the being the biggest kids because they were the first ones to hop in the drivers seat and to swing on the ring. (I didn't get a picture of that though, bummer) Then after we got to spray water everywhere we went back into the station to say "Goodbye." It was so fun. Totally recommend anyone doing that. It was a sweet time for everyone. (my other pics don't want to post to I will post some more later)

I love all the pictures you took! It was fun for Daren to have you guys up--I mean, what kid doesn't love fire engines...except Ben for the first few years of his life! Go figure:)
