Long Lost Blogs

Ok, so sorry!!! Things have been busy and we just got lazy with updating the blog. But to catch you all up with the wonderful world of the Rasch family.
It's that time of year for fairs and so we went to one in Puyallup. Apparently it's the 7th largest in the world. The best thing about it was they offer free days to military and their family. So all we had to spend money on was funnel cakes. The fair was fun, always interesting to walk in the pavilions for home business folks (some scary stuff out there). The best part for the kids was the animals. They got a lesson about cows and who's who and what they do. But unique to this fair are the Clydesdale horses. Years ago when we were first stationed here, we went to the fair and Payge (3 at the time) called them bears. Well, she's bigger now and their not bears anymore but still HUGE!!

One of our traditions we have up here at Ft Lewis is every Saturday we wake up, make some hot chocolate and breakfast sandwiches and go to a place called Solo Point. There we just sit and watch the boats go bye and listen to the water crash on the shore. The cool thing about this place is it's restricted to government decal vehicles only. So after being there for awhile will sometimes find ourselves wondering around on post looking at yard sales for anything the might suit our needs. This weekend, in between conference sessions, we found one. A cabinet that can actually hold all our DVD's (over 300). It's a great condition and the funny thing it matches our entertainment stand.

Solo Point and the cabinet!! Isn't it Amazing!!

Just had to add this one. It's Nate's wallet. Pretty inventive for a 4 y/o
