A Big Day!!!

After much arguing and much tears we finally decided to take off Payge's training wheels. Mardi was very nervous. Terry knew that she could do it! So we finally convinced her to try it. After two times of falling off and once walking away, (mardi had tons of padding on her that she couldn't balance on her bike, so we finally took it off and off she went. she did much better without it on. so much for protection!)Terry talked her into trying it again and she DID IT!!! She rode alone for the first time after trying just a couple of times. Mardi was taking pictures and being a cheerleader while Terry was helping her. Nate had to get in on the fun. After she was done we asked her what she thought of her riding without training wheels. She started to cry and said that she was excited that she could do it but she missed the wheels. She is so funny. Love her. She has already made Terry promise that they can ride every day after her homework is done. Payge was so excited that she did it. She rode down to the end of the street to another little girl that was learning to ride and tried to help her also. It was fantastic. They tried once and then her mom took over. Love the ideas that she has. Hopefully by Wednesday she can ride her bike to school all by herself. No more training wheels is Awesome!!! Now we just have to work with Nate and peddling. He likes to stop and then get off and push it. He also just started riding a peddle bike. Needless to say there were a lot of tears but laughs today! It was very good day for the Rasch's especially Payge.
