Payge brought home this paper doll. They had to dress it up like an ancestor. Well me being the wonderful mother that I am kept putting it off until last minute. So luckily Payge has a wonderful Mimi that helped her with the doll. (unlike her mom) So on Friday night we started it and finally Monday night she is all done. Mimi sewed her clothes and I did her hair. Grandpa did the face and Payge colored her. She turned out very cute. I think my favorite part is her shoes. We actually bought leather laces and laced up her boots. Thank you Mimi and Grandpa for your help with the doll. Now if we could only convince teachers that they should not assign projects like this for 2nd graders. But we had fun. Payge did Great-Grandma Jane. So cute!
