Happy Birthday Nate and Mimi!!!

Nate and Mimi's birthday dinner. Nate got to blow out the candles with the help from Sommer, Drew and Payge. We did presents when Terry got home. So this is our breakfast party that we had. He opened this book first and didn't really care about the rest. It was a big book of Trucks.On the 8th of June 2006, it was a wonderful day! My mom let Nate share her birthday with her. When I was pregnant with Nate the C-sections dates where the 8th, 10th, or 12th. Those were the days the high risk doctors were there. So we thought about having him on the 10th in between my mom and my brother. Well after much complications we were told that the 8th was going to be the day. So my mom flew in to take care of Payge. She flew in on Wednesday and we went into the hospital very early on Thursday. We lived up in Fort Lewis, WA at the time and we were accustomed to the temperature there and had the air conditioner on and forgot to tell my mom how to turn it off. So we almost froze my mom but she finally found the hidden switch, that was in the laundry room behind the dryer that was behind a door. Felt so bad. Finally after waiting 6 hours and moving me twice they said that it was finally our turn. So in we go and after 5 turns with the suction because he has such a nice German (huge) head he was born at 12:34. It was so fun. They don't have a nursery there so from the minute he was born he was with me. It was nice but also very tiring. But luckily Terry was there. Then around 4:00 they moved me into my room and so my mom and Payge got to come. That was the best part is when Payge walked into meet her baby brother that she had nicknamed, from the minute we found out, Pumba. After two days in they let me go home. My dad had flown in on Friday and so that was so nice to have my parents there to help out with Payge while we took care of Nate. Thanks Mom and Dad!! He has been such a joy since he came to our family. He is all boy. Any sport that you can do or make up he is right there and thinks he is as big if not bigger than everyone else playing. He always has a great smile on. His favorite time besides playing sports is eating. He wakes up and wants dinner. He is so funny. We are so glad that we have him in our lives and get to see him learn and explore everyday. Thanks to my mom for all the love and support. Thanks for letting us use your day and being a wonderful Mimi to 4 fantastic grand kids and 1 on the way. We love you both!!
