Well this past month has been fun. We celebrated our 7th Wedding Anniversary and my birthday. Then Payge started Juinor Jazz. Her and her cousin Drew are the same number. We thought that was so cute. She loves it. She has scored a basket in every game and really understanding it finally. That is until Saturday. She was playing and she kept looking at her hand. They wear wrist bands and we thought that she was playing with that. So we are telling her to pay attention to the game and stop worrying about it. Finally she goes over to her coach and shows her this little scratch and so she sends Payge over to her dad. He looks at it and tells her she is alright then he flips her hand over and her thumb is not going the right way and there is a huge bump. She some how dislocated her thumb. None of us know how she did it. So we take her out in the hallway and Mardi holds her head and Terry pops it back into place. He tapes it up and she heads back in to play. So the rest of the day we just have her take it easy and she doesn't complain or anything. So we kind of forget it. Mardi's mom works for the Orthpeadics at the U of U and she just asks her doctor if we need to worry about or if we should. He tells her to call Mardi and get in there as soon as we can. So we head in yesterday and this is what happened. They put her in a cast. Of course she picked hot pink. They are putting her in this as a precautionary and to help her little muscles heal. She is in this lovely cast for 6 weeks. Well that is our fun month. As crazy and weird as it was it was one of those that will stick with you for a while.
